The Beginner Mountain Biking Classes for Women is designed for women mountain bikers led by Liz Donahey, an enthusiastic, motivating, and knowledgeable instructor. In this 3-hour mountain biking class, you will learn and practice key riding techniques, including body position, pedal position, shifting gears, braking, climbing, descending, as well as navigating minor obstacles on the trail. You will also learn important trail etiquette and communication skills to ensure everyone is safe and having fun out on the trails. Don’t have a bike? You can rent a mountain bike at the Trail House in Santa Rosa, California. Recommended for women 14 and older; riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Group ride limited to 6 riders. Let’s ride!
